When at home, she thoroughly enjoys her wonderful family to the full - she has a marvellous partner and equally marvellous, grown up son and daughter. In her spare time, she can usually be found tramping around the hills and countryside of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire accompanied by her Border Terrier, George! |

Jackie Dawn—Parish Clerk |
As well as a Parish Councillor Pat has been a Gedling Borough Councillor for 6 years. Pat has just been elected Deputy Mayor for next year and is a very loyal supporter of Burton Joyce and its interests at full Council level. She and her husband have 4 children and could be why Pat has a particular interest in the redevelopment of the Roberts Children Play Area and Pat also is on the board of Governors at Carlton Le Willows School. |

Pat M Blandamer– Councillor |

George Dawn—Parish Mascot |
George has enjoyed a number of senior posts in the village mainly Lamp posts and fence posts. Father of 262 he is a keen supporter of family values and Pedigree Chum. Georges primary task involves security at the Parish Office where he has been instrumental in trials of a new sniff based Parish Councillor screening system. George is Chair of the Dogsbody Committee in fact its only member. Often mistaken due to his wire hair for a muddy boot wipe ornament George is often seen greeting guests to the Parish Office. On his days off he can be found tramping around the hills and countryside of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire accompanied by his Parish Clerk Jackie. |
