Welcome to the Poplars Sports Ground Burton Joyce just outside Nottingham and next to the River Trent. Taking its name from a row of trees lining the route The Poplars is administered by Sports Ground Committee part of the by Burton Joyce Parish Council and for the residents and people in and around our Village including Bulcote and Stoke Bardolph. We are proud to support a series of regular Quality Sports Clubs within our 4 acre site and have 3 Excellent Changing rooms, Officials rooms, Pavilions Bar and Lounge. With close co-ordination from our Master Grounds man David List, we have an excellent quality all year round availability of 6 full size and 3 Mini Soccer pitches, 9 rink Lawn Bowls, Cricket square, Cricket nets and Archery area. The Pavilions Lounge and Bar is also available for hire and many other annual Events such as the Three Villages Gala, Fireworks Night and various weekend tournaments are held at our Ground.
