Burton Joyce Parish Council is responsible for the up keep of the following areas:
Poplar Sports Ground, Burton Joyce
The Poplars Sports Ground is a large modern facility and home to multiple senior and junior football teams, a cricket team, archery, petanque, walking netball and lawn bowls.
The Old School Building
The Old School Building houses the Parish Council Office and is also home to local clubs and societies through our room hire.
Burton Joyce Parish Cemetery
Adjacent to St Helen’s Church, the cemetery is primarily for the benefit of Burton Joyce residents. The grounds and structures are jointly managed by the Parish Clerk and Grounds & Amenities team.
Roberts Recreation Ground – Playground
This well used play area in the heart of Burton Joyce is popular with parents and children from 2 to 15 years old
Allotments– Trent Side
The Parish Council manages and offers for rent 80+ allotment plots at this site primarily for Burton Joyce residents, contact the Parish Office for details of current availability and charges
Hidden away at the top of Willow Wong behind the Burton Joyce Primary School is a quiet green area called the Grove.
The Millennium Sundial is owned and managed by the Parish Council and maintained by volunteers.
Dedicated to The Fallen of two World Wars this Memorial in the village centre is the focus of thoughts and activities during The Remembrance Sunday in November
Princess Diana Memorial
Next to the Cross Keys in the Village is a small floral memorial for Princess Diana
Formerly a responsibility of the County Council, and now cut and managed by Parish Council staff

Particularly summer with an array of hanging baskets throughout the village centre
