DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

PROPOSED JUNCTION PROTECTIONS SCHEME

Thank you to all residents who sent in comments on the proposed double yellow lines at junctions following the item in the November issue of the Parish Magazine. 80% of those who responded were supportive of the introduction of double yellow line on the named junctions.   Following the feedback from the consultation the following junctions have also been added to the scheme.

• Hillside Drive and Main Street
• Lambley Lane and Main Street
• St Helen’s Crescent and Church Road
• Shaftesbury Avenue and Church Road

The Parish Council has now voted to support the scheme and Via East Midlands have been notified.  It will therefore go to formal consultation with residents by Via East Midlands.
